Project Description:
I am interested in combination of computational and experimental approaches to develop novel tools that can advance or revolutionize various areas of biological science. Currently I am working among an interdisciplinary team of scientists from both Drs. Jens Meiler and James Crowe laboratories to combine next-generation sequencing data, information about experimentally discovered and characterized antibodies, and computational methods to elucidate structural determinants of pathogen recognition. Bringing all these data together, I am looking to better understand the maturation process of broadly neutralizing or highly potent antibodies. I am also fascinated by visualization of molecular-level biological processes and work to develop protein and small molecules-based tools for fluorescent imaging, while also working to improve the computational design of these probes.
