As a programmer for the Meiler lab, my responsibilities are primarily maintenance, enhancement, and utilization of the protein folding game Foldit.  My work focuses on providing citizen scientists with access to new tools to enhance their research potential.  Gamification of education and research is a strong interest of mine, and I enjoy helping enable citizen scientist to contribute to the scientific community.  Other responsibilities include assisting researchers with technological hurtles as well as web application design and maintenance.
