Research Description
I work as a research assistant in the Meiler lab. I work on expressing, purifying and circularizing cNW9 nanodiscs for membrane protein reconstitution and investigations by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS). Additionally, I will be investigating the structural dynamics of the full-length membrane-bound influenza hemagglutinin (HA) via purification and reconstitution of HA into cNW9 nanodics for SANS and Cryo-EM. My long-term goal is to peruse graduate studies in chemistry/biochemistry.
